Fort Indiantown Gap has restored an Eastern Native Grasslands for the repatriation of the threatened Regal Fritillary Butterfly. Twice a year, on consecutive weekends, the grasslands is open for public tours and a glimpse of this threatened butterfly.

Best Known For  

This walking tour (100 feet to 1.5 miles) is for all ages, abilities, levels of butterfly identification skills, and will follow gravel trails and field mowed grass trails. There are educational activities, entertainment, and special features for children.
