Clarence Schock Park at Governor Dick

Hike to the summit of the Clarence Schock Memorial Park at Governor Dick to catch a 360-degree view of Lebanon County and the surrounding four counties including Lancaster, Dauphin, Berks, and York from the top of the famous Governor Dick Tower. The entire park offers over 14 miles (1,100 acres) of hiking, biking, and horse trails and provides habitat for many animal and bird species.

Climb the Governor Dick Observation Tower for a bird’s eye view of fall foliage across five counties. As you make your way to the tower, enjoy the forested trails that weave their way through the 1,105-acre Clarence Shock Memorial Park.

 

Best Known For  

  • There is a lovely variety of hiking in this park. One of the most popular hikes is to the Observation Tower at the center of the park. There are various bouldering opportunities along some trails.
