Outdoor Activities

If you’re a fan of the winter weather, there are plenty of things to do outdoors. Enjoy all that the Lebanon Valley has to offer, even in the snow.

Carriage Rides

On Friday, December 6th and 13th, the Community of Lebanon Association hosts Holiday Carriage Rides. Enjoy the nostalgia of riding in a horse-drawn carriage through the decorated streets of Downtown Lebanon!

Snow tubing

Enjoy the snow at Iron Valley Tubing! Make your way to the top of the lift where you’ll be greeted with a large tube that will take you on a fun adventure down a snowy slope! This snow tubing facility offers 15 lanes and a 130ft drop that will give you a thrill.

Snowy Hike

Grab your snowshoes and take a hike! You can still enjoy the great outdoors, even in the winter. Head to Middle Creek Wildlife Sanctuary for a beautiful hike through the snow. The woodsy paths will lead you to serene spots where you can experience wildlife first hand. If you’re visiting in February, you may be lucky enough to witness the snow geese migration at Middle Creek!
