Free Outdoor Concert – Duo Parisienne

Duo Parisienne has been delighting audiences with its imaginative programs of music drawn from Paris and other cultural centers of the world and featuring music spanning four centuries.

Nancy Bean has been a member of The Philadelphia Orchestra since 1983 and its Assistant Concertmaster since 1986, retiring in 2009 to devote herself to chamber music. She is Artistic Director of 1807 & Friends and violinist with the Wister Quartet.

Anne Sullivan began her career as a concert harpist at age twelve when she appeared twice as soloist with The Philadelphia Orchestra. A native of the Philadelphia area, she graduated from Curtis Institute of Music and has been a member of their faculty since 1982.

To make your outing more enjoyable:

  • Remember a chair or blanket and if you have it, you may want to bring some bug spray
  • The concert will be approximately 60 minutes
  • Parking is free but give yourself some extra time – on weekends the lot can get busy
  • Public restrooms are available
  • Bring water bottles and dress accordingly for the weather, wear comfortable shoes
