December 7th @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The Friends of Cornwall Iron Furnace will host their annual “Christmas at Cornwall” event on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at the historic Cornwall Iron Furnace, 94 Rexmont Road. This family-friendly event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature guided tours of the furnace, seasonal refreshments, and a model train displayed by Brian’s Model Trains under the furnace’s large, decorated tree. The museum store will be open for holiday shopping, and family crafts and visits from Santa will be offered in the 1860s Paymaster’s Building.
New to this year’s event will be walking tours of Minersvillage led by several local historians. Also, Lebanon Valley Craft Brewery will be offering free tastings as well as sales of their products and merchandise in the Blacksmith Shop, which will be transformed into “Coleman’s Tavern.” As in years past, Cornwall Manor will partner with the Friends in providing access to their wonderfully restored buildings.
They will be hosting their “Cookies, Carols, Crafts & More” event from 9:30 am – 12:30pm at Freeman Community Center.
Here is a list of activities available on the campus of Cornwall Manor:
- Tours of the public areas of the 19-room Buckingham Mansion
