Trattoria Fratelli for Fine Dining
My sister and brother-in-law are here for a visit so we went to Trattoria Fratelli for dinner. This restaurant, located on Lehman street in Lebanon, offers fine Italian cuisine. As we waited for our table, we were surrounded by people talking and laughing; enjoying the great atmosphere of this restaurant and the wonderful food. We also watched the chef making the pizzas many share as appetizers.
Once we were seated and ordered, our waitress brought bread to the table. The bread of the day was a very delicious lemon bread. I suggested we share a pizza as an appetizer—we ordered the pizza with four different cheeses, which arrived piping hot, cheese melted perfectly and was delicious.
Thursday is Lasagna night. My brother-in-law ordered this for his entrée. My sister had a penne pasta dish with wood-roasted chicken, spinach and pine nuts. Both my brother and I had pork tenderloin with cherry sauce, corn cakes and broccolini. Everything was delicious. We finished the meal with gelatos—-mixed berry for some; pineapple coconut for others.
