This Art Show is special because it happens annually in the heavenly little town of Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania, under the trees, and 2024 will be the 50th anniversary! Enjoy a delicious lunch and draft beer from local restaurants and end the day with a cold treat!
Stop 1: Mount Gretna Outdoor Art Show
Go on an artsy outdoor adventure under the trees of Chautauqua! The Mount Gretna Outdoor Art Show is something all the locals talk about and look forward to every single year, and now I know why. The Art Show hosts hundreds of talented artists, ceramicists, jewelry makers, and so much more each year. Walk through the town, exploring the unique vendor tents and the surrounding homes. It was so much fun!
Stop 2: Art Show Gourmet Food Court
After spending the morning browsing, make your way to the food section of the Art Show! We enjoyed barbecue sandwiches with slaw from the Hershey Bistro. We grabbed a few beers from Snitz Creek Brewery, as well. The blueberry beer was great! Enjoy your lunch near live music, on a bench under the trees, or at one of the many tables set up around the show.
Stop 3: The Jigger Shop
As you may know, shopping goes well with an ice cream in hand! Stop at The Jigger Shop for some ice cream, sundae, food, or soda. We enjoyed one scoop of chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone. The waffle cone was massive! The ice cream cone was a nice, cold, and creamy treat to end our art show journey.
