Shop & Eat Local in the Lebanon Valley

An Adventure with Kayla Williams of Wandering Pine Prints
Wake up and start the day right with a warm (cold or frozen) cup of coffee and a sweet or savory crêpe. Shop small at Carriage House Collective for unique handcrafted finds, home decor, gifts, and more. Then go antiquing at Butcher Block Antiques. Finish your early afternoon with a delicious lunch and draft beer at Snitz Creek Brewery. Then, see where the rest of the day goes!

Stop 1: Ancestor Coffeehouse & Crêperie

Ancestor Coffeehouse is located within a walkable distance from our hotel, so we decided to see what it was all about! When you walk in the door, you will instantly smell the aroma of coffee. I had a caramel oat milk cappuccino, and my husband had a frozen caramel coffee, and they were both great! We shared a Nutella and strawberry crêpe and a bacon, egg, and cheese crêpe. A great way to fuel for your day!

Stop 2: Carriage House Collective

Take a short drive over to one of the most well displayed stores you’ll ever walk into, Carriage House Collective! There are many products from local makers, such as furniture, home decor, jewelry, gifts, candles, baked goods, and so much more goodness! This shop is FULL of small town charm.

During our visit, the owner and her shop pup, Max, gave us a warm welcome to their space and to everyone else who walked in behind us, making them feel welcome. We met the shop baker while there, so we had to try her lemon poppyseed whoopie pie, which was so amazing. There is something for everyone in this store. Happy shopping!

Stop 3: Butcher Block Antiques

Take it easy and go antiquing at Butcher Block Antiques in Annville! They have many nice, unique pieces you may be searching for. This antique shop is well organized and easy to explore. There were lots of local antique items that had the nearby town names on them, as well as glassware, collectibles, and more.

Stop 4: Snitz Creek Brewery

Shopping can make you hungry. Go grab a tasty lunch at Snitz Creek Brewery in Lebanon! We shared a cheesesteak, and it is the best cheesesteak we have had in quite some time. It was moist, cheesy, and delicious. We also ordered a side of fries, and they were nice and crispy, especially good with ketchup. It paired well with our draft beers.
