"The kids of chemistry many quartets long for, but rarely achieve," wrote the Strad. The Graduate Resident String Quartet at Julliard teams up with pianist Orion Weiss and bassist Sam Suggs in an all-Schubert season finale featuring ever-popular Trout Quintet.  

Pianist Tao is "shaping the future of classical music" (New York Magazine). Tap dancer Teicher's style is known for humor and aesthetic exploration. Program includes excerpts from Bach's Goldberg Variations and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.  

Three of classical music's most innovative young talents, violinist Ariel Horowitz, violinist Jordan Bak, and pianist Wynona Wang, will perform works from Janacek, Clara Schumann, Brahms, and the Romantic gem Piano Trio in b minor, Op. 2 by Max Reger.  

Metropolitan Opera star soprano Susanna Phillips returns with the award-winning Escher Quartet. The quartet will take center stage for the first half of a program of Haydn and Schoenberg before Ms. Phillips joins them in the second half for music of Respighi, Dvorak, and Handel.  

Applauded by The New Yorker as "independent-minded," this Grammy-nominated quartet's modern take on chamber music makes them one of the most dynamic artists of their generation. Program will feature contemporary works, original compositions, and improvisations on classical favorites.
