The Schaeffer Farm comes alive all weekend long with period artisans, crafts, cooking, cider-pressing, farm-life, demonstrations, unique entertainment, and more! Saturday: 10am to 5pm  /  Sunday: 11:30am to 4:30pm

For children entering grades 4-7, this engaging week is a fun way to learn about early America. Villagers will get hands-on experience with flax, fraktur art, tine punching, bucket making, wheat weaving, rug making, honey making, and more -- plus enjoy guided nature walks. Enjoy the Heirloom Garden at the farm, see a presentation on Natural Dyes from Plants by Suzanne Fry. Plus, learn about edible and medicinal plants, and organic gardening. Books, seeds and refreshments offered.

Since the 1700s, the Schaefferstown Cherry Fair has thrilled guests. Now held at the historic Schaeffer Farm, visitors can enjoy skilled artisans, entertainment, demonstrations, food, games, and Forebay Gift Shop. Schaeffer House tour included.
