Fall Isn’t Complete Without a Pumpkin-Picking Adventure!
At Risser-Marvel Farm Market in Annville, you can pick the perfect pumpkin, wander through the maze, and enjoy a stop at their well-stocked farm market, known for fresh, locally grown produce and irresistible whoopie pies. It’s a quintessential fall stop with plenty of reasons to linger a little longer.
In Jonestown, head to Gray’s Apple Ridge Orchard, where you can choose your own pumpkin right from the patch. They even have pruners available for picking and a garden hose to give your freshly picked pumpkin a rinse before you head home.
At Seyfert’s Corn Maze in Lebanon, put your sense of direction to the test as you navigate the corn maze, then head to the pumpkin patch to pick out your favorite. Prefer to skip the picking? Pre-picked pumpkins are available at all three locations, too!

Pick, Taste & Savor Apple Season
There’s nothing quite like a fall day at the orchard! Head to Gray’s Apple Ridge Orchard in Jonestown for a pick-your-own experience, with eight varieties of apples available throughout the season. After filling your basket, be sure to save room for their delicious selection of homemade baked goods.
Just down the road, Sycamore Spring Orchard offers another taste of autumn with apples, freshly baked treats, and their famous apple dumplings—a fall favorite worth making a special trip for. Whether you’re picking your own apples or simply stopping in for something sweet, both orchards are perfect places to savor the flavors of the season.

Sip, Stroll & Stop to Smell the Dahlias
Make your way to Royal Oaks Farm this fall when the farm bursts into bloom for its Dahlia Fest, beginning Labor Day weekend. Wander through rows of vibrant dahlias in full bloom, create your own bouquet, and sip your way through the flowers with local coffee trucks on select dates. Just stop by the self-serve shed, grab a pair of snippers, choose a Mason jar or pail, and start creating your own bouquet.
The blooms don’t stop there! A bonus sunflower field is expected to put on a show during the first two weeks of October, adding another reason to visit. Royal Oaks Farm will be open through October 15* and may extend the season depending on blooms…so there’s plenty of time to enjoy a little fall flower therapy.

10th Annual Lebanon Valley Fall Fair
Get a jumpstart on fall at the 10th Annual Lebanon Valley Fall Fair, where nearly 200 crafters and vendors will fill four halls at the Lebanon Expo Center with handmade creations, seasonal finds, décor, and plenty of shopping inspiration. Bring the whole family: kids can enjoy free fall-themed activities in the Kids’ Korner, including coloring pages, animal-themed masks, and a fun photo station featuring visits with Snow White and Cinderella.
With free admission and free parking, it’s an easy way to spend a fall Saturday discovering something new, supporting local makers, and filling those shopping bags!

Fall Harvest Fair & Early American Crafts
Step back in time at the Alexander Schaeffer Farm during the annual Fall Harvest Fair & Early American Crafts. Experience the sights, sounds, and traditions of early American farm life with traditional demonstrations, live cooking, apple cider pressing, and apple butter making. This year’s celebration also honors America’s 250th birthday with special displays and activities inspired by the nation’s early years. While you’re there, explore the Schaeffer House and Heirloom Garden, visit the museum store, and enjoy a taste of autumn on this historic farm.

Sip & Shop at the Carriage House Collective Fall Barn Sale
A fall shopping tradition returns for its 6th year! Head to the family homestead of Carriage House Collective for a weekend of vintage finds, handmade treasures, and unique pieces you won’t find anywhere else. With more than 40 makers represented, you’ll discover handcrafted furniture, beautiful textiles, unique jewelry, home décor, vintage goods, and plenty of one-of-a-kind finds tucked throughout the rustic 160 year old barn.
This year, Fire Drop Coffee will be on hand, making it even easier to sip, shop, and savor the season as you explore. Grab a coffee, take your time browsing, and see what treasures you can take home from this beloved local shopping event.

Hunt for Treasures at Miss Morgan’s
A Lebanon Valley fall tradition is celebrating their 19th year! Miss Morgan’s Milkweed Antique & Artisan Show returns to the Lebanon Expo Center, bringing together more than 200 vendors from across the country for two days of serious treasure hunting. From antiques and primitives to home décor, garden finds, handmade artisan crafts, one-of-a-kind clothing and jewelry, hand-thrown pottery, rug hooking, and so much more, there’s something around every corner—and likely a few things you didn’t know you needed!
With live demonstrations, food vendors, and two full days to explore, this is the kind of shopping adventure where you may want to take their advice and #bringatruck! Admission is just $5 per person, making it an easy addition to your fall weekend in Lebanon Valley.

Fall Is Made for Golf

Go Leaf Peeping in the Valley
There’s something magical about watching the Valley transform as the leaves trade their summer green for brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold. Fall is the perfect excuse to get outside, hit the trails, and take in the scenery. Grab your camera and make a day of it!
At Swatara State Park, wander the trails and keep an eye out for beautiful views near Bordner Cabin and Aycrigg’s Falls. For a longer adventure, explore the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail, where more than 20 miles of trail offer changing landscapes and plenty of opportunities to catch the foliage from a new perspective. Feeling adventurous? Climb the Governor Dick Observation Tower at Clarence Schock Memorial Park for a spectacular 360-degree view spanning five counties – definitely worth the climb and maybe even a new lockscreen photo!
