Farm-to-Table: Cruciferous Veggies for Cancer Protection

Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage and other greens have been linked to many health benefits, including cancer protection. Join Trevor Sipe, executive chef at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital as he teaches participants basic nutrition principles and how to incorporate cancer fighting vegetables into daily meal planning. Trevor will discuss how to prepare and store cruciferous vegetables while preparing a healthy menu option that participants will be able to sample and make at home.
