Worldwide Sit and Spin Day
September 19th @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Worldwide Spin in Public Day is an annual international event held on the third Saturday of September. Fiber artists gather in parks, libraries, and other public spaces to spin wool or plant fibers into yarn, share their craft, and invite the community to learn about handspinning and connect local makers while celebrating a heritage craft!
If you are a Spinner – Bring a spinning wheel or drop spindle, plus your fiber supply, to The Isaac Meier Homestead
If you are a Beginner, or just curious – come and watch, ask questions, or try spinning yourself. Our spinners LOVE to share their craft!
Natural Dyeing Demonstrations, Food Trucks, and Natural Dyed Yarn for sale!
