Turtle Walk

Swatara has a rich turtle population from box turtles, painted turtles, and even the occasional wood turtle! Join us as we talk about the characteristics of turtles, walking around counting how many we can find, and exploring the world or turtles!

This is a great activity for families and children to engage with their native ecosystems. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. It is encouraged to bring sunscreen, bug spray, drinking water, clothes you’re okay to get a little dirty in, and hand sanitizer.
