Come enjoy the natural show of the sunset from the view of the Memorial Lake. Our Lake offers a beautiful Appilachian view that creates a picture-worthy atmosphere. As the sun begins to set and everything cools off, the forest becomes alive again, so we’ll have a beautiful chorus of birds, frogs, and maybe a few owls if we’re lucky!
Registration is required if you need to borrow a kayak. All kayakers are welcome, if you have your own it is recommended you bring it. PFDs can be provided to those who are borrowing kayaks, for those bringing their own kayaks, you must have a lifeguard approved PFD available within your kayak at all times on the water.
Payment can be done day of as cash or prior to the event at the park office. Cost is $10.
