Join us for a special on-site living history program featuring an engaging look at Cornwall in the 1970s.
Drop in to the Furnace anytime between 9 am and 4 pm to learn about a pivotal decade marked by the 1973 closure of the Cornwall mine and the community-wide celebration of the Bicentennial in 1976. And, just for fun, you can adopt your very own pet rock!
This program brings recent history to life – sharing stories, memories, and perspectives from a transformative era in the Cornwall community. It’ll be a groovy time!
