Lincoln’s Legacy

The presidency of Abraham Lincoln helped to expand who in America was considered worth of life, liberty and happiness. Through the Civil War, the Emancipation Proclamation and the ratification of the 13 amendment the American experiment was expanded to allow include former slaves.
