Program: “Lighting for Mood and Texture” by Tom Gainer
This presentation explores how lighting choices shape the emotional tone and tactile presence of a photograph. Tom will demonstrate how subtle adjustments in light direction, diffusion, and shadow control can transform a scene from flat to sculptural, quiet to dramatic. Through still life and macro examples, attendees will learn practical techniques for creating images with rich texture, atmospheric depth, and intentional mood.
