Historic Old Annville Day
Historic Old Annville Day will return to the Lebanon Valley College campus on Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
According to a release from the Friends of Old Annville, the annual event will feature an expanded musical program on two stages. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, the performances will feature curated sets highlighting the nation’s heritage, the release says.
The lineup this year includes The Washington Band, Dan Joe Trio, Mockingbird, North of Now, and The Full Circle.
The Friends group invites residents and visitors “to celebrate the rich history of Annville in a family-friendly atmosphere, with a special musical nod to the United States’ Semiquincentennial,” the release says. The event will be held at the intersection of North College and East Sheridan avenues.
The event acts as a showcase for the region’s local vendors, including community retailers and restaurants. Numerous local nonprofits will also have booths to share their missions and raise funds through the sale of food and drinks, allowing attendees to support local causes directly.
