First Listen – Artemis Drake, oboe

First Listen invites you to enjoy free, 20-minute mini-concerts featuring the impressive talents of local student musicians. These delightful performances take place before most of our main events.

Artemis Drake has studied oboe and English horn with Jonathan Blumenfeld (Philadelphia Orchestra) and Kirstin Myers (York Symphony) and is a summa cum laude graduate of Conrad Weiser High School. She will be an oboe performance major studying with Robert Walters (Cleveland Orchestra) at Oberlin Conservatory in the fall.
