Copper Dragon WorkShop

Light those torches! This class includes flame painting! Get your feet wet in the art of metalcraft by creating your own hanging copper dragon wind spinner. You’ll learn to texture, bend, and create your own copper dragon as unique as you. Copper dragons crafted during this workshop will be approximately 9″x9″.

The workshop will take place regardless of the number of tickets sold; no minimum number of participants is required. All tools, raw materials, gloves, and safety glasses will be provided. All experience levels welcome—instructors will help as much or as little as you’d like. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes or boots and have long hair tied back. Although we are called Drunken Smithy, please keep in mind that alcohol may not be consumed prior to or during this workshop.

We require a $75 non-refundable deposit at the time of reserving your spot and the remaining balance ($75) is to be paid the day of the workshop (paid onsite). When you pay the remaining balance, we impose a surcharge of 2.3% on the transaction amount for all credit, PayPal, and Venmo payment methods. There is no transaction fee for payments made with cash or Drunken Smithy gift certificates.

Drunken Smithy is wheelchair-friendly and welcomes participants of all ability levels. The only restriction we have is that oxygen tanks are not permitted in our forging area or the copper and silver workshops areas.
