Bridging Three Generations: Time Capsule Unearthing

Join us at Liberty Pole at Coleman Memorial Park!
More than digging up a capsule–representing a passing of Lebanon’s story from one generation to the next.
The original participants buried the capsule during the nation’s 200th birthday celebration. Today’s residents are serving as stewards of that history while adding our own chapter for those who will celebrate the nation’s 300th birthday in 2076.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to view a special history and photo display featuring the 1976 time capsule, its contents, and other historic photographs that help tell the story of Lebanon’s past and the generations who have shaped our community.
