National Travel and Tourism Week is Coming: Celebrate with Visit Lebanon Valley!
Lebanon, Pa. — Established in 1983, National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) is an annual tradition to celebrate the U.S. travel community and honor the essential role that travel plays in stimulating the economy, cultivating vibrant communities, creating job opportunities, and elevating the quality of life for Americans every day.
In Lebanon County, tourism is a vital part of the community and a major driver of the economy. Here are some key statistics about the impact of travel and tourism:
- $296.2 million – Total visitor spending in Lebanon County in 20231
- 2.2 million – Total visit nights in Lebanon County in 20242
- $1.3 trillion – Total spending generated from the U.S. travel industry in 20243
- 15 million – Total American jobs supported by the U.S. travel industry in 20243
To celebrate NTTW in Lebanon County, Visit Lebanon Valley will give away free postcards from Sunday, May 4, through Saturday, May 10. Those interested can order a postcard four-pack using this form.
