
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Lebanon is an outstanding example of Victorian Gothic Architecture. Completed in 1880, the church was funded by Robert Habersham Coleman, who was known as the “Iron King of Pennsylvania”. Features of this church include:
- Facade with all elements of European Gothic Facades: Rose window, deep-splayed entrance, two towers, and the use of multi-colored shingles
- Interior carvings and gargoyles handcrafted by Italian Masons
- Large square tower with gargoyles
- Steep pitched roof made of variegated slate
- Numerous Gables
St. Luke’s continues to hold weekly church services and frequent events.
