Salem Walmer Church was founded in 1750 by Peter Walmer, and steeped in tradition. Fifty years after its founding, in 1800, The German Reformed congregation invited its Lutheran neighbors, who had assisted with renovations to the church, to join in worshipping at Walmer’s.
