A Historic Summer Theatre
The Mount Gretna Playhouse is a historic open-air playhouse that offers a full summer season of live music, theatre, and entertainment. The original Playhouse building was constructed as the centerpiece of the Chautauqua community back in 1892. The building has since been reconstructed as a snowstorm in the winter of 1994 collapsed the roof of the original structure.
